summer 2026 June 8 - July 17 Summers just got a lot more exciting at Upstage Dance Centre! We are offering two six-week programs this summer - our Summer Dance Experience & Summer Dance Classes! Our Summer Dance Experience includes 12 exciting sessions with exciting themes throughout the summer! Morning Sessions: 9:00AM - 12:00PM (ages 3-10) Afternoon Sessions: 1:00PM - 4:00PM (ages 5-10) Whether your child wants to join us for one session or dive into multiple sessions throughout the summer, we welcome all young dancers to join the adventure! EARLY BIRD SPECIAL PRICING! $100 per session when you register before May 1, 2026 $125 per session when you register after May 1, 2026 FULL PAYMENT FOR THE SESSION(S) IS REQUIRED AT REGISTRATION! DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE: $10 off for each additional session your dancer registers for. Initial session will remain full price. $10 off for sibling registrations. Helpful Information for Parents: Dancers who register for both morning and afternoon sessions in the same week receive free early drop-off and late pick-up (8am-5pm)! Early drop-off and/or late pick-up for single-session dancers is available for an additional fee. Dancers must be potty trained. Dancers need to bring a nut-free snack and drink each day. Dancers attending both sessions in a day should bring a nut-free sack lunch. Each week ends with a special performance on the final day for their family to enjoy! June 8 - 12, 2026 Session 1 Rainbows & Unicorns Dance Adventure Step into a magical world filled with sparkling unicorns and colorful rainbows! Dancers will twirl, leap, and groove through imaginative dance games, themed crafts, and magical adventures. Each day will be packed with creative movement, music, and glittery fun. Get ready to dance your way through a rainbow and discover your inner unicorn! Date: June 8 - 12, 2026 Time: 9am - 12pm Ages: 3 - 10 Session 2 K-Pop Dance Takeover Lights, camera, K-Pop! Dancers will dive into the world of high-energy choreography inspired by the biggest K-Pop hits. Between dances, everyone will enjoy games, crafts, and pop-star challenges. This camp is full of confidence-building moments, cool moves, and pop-star energy. It's the perfect week for dancers who love big energy and bold moves! Date: June 8 - 12, 2026 Time: 1pm - 4pm Ages: 5 - 10 June 15 - 19, 2026 Session 3 Jungle Safari Dance Expedition Grab your explorer hat because we’re heading on a jungle dance adventure! Dancers will stomp like elephants, leap like monkeys, and slither like snakes as they explore fun jungle-inspired choreography. Each day includes exciting dance activities, games, and safari crafts. It’s a wild week full of movement, imagination, and jungle fun! Date: June 15 - 19, 2026 Time: 9am - 12pm Ages: 3 - 10 Session 4 Swiftie Era Dance Celebration Calling all Swifties! This camp celebrates music, friendship, and dancing through different “eras” of fun. Dancers will learn upbeat choreography, play themed games, and create fun crafts inspired by their favorite pop star moments. Did we mention FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS! It’s a week of singing, dancing, and sparkling like the star you are! Date: June 15 - 19, 2026 Time: 1pm - 4pm Ages: 5 - 10 June 22 - 26, 2026 Session 5 K-Pop Dance Takeover Lights, camera, K-Pop! Date: June 22 - 26, 2026 Time: 1pm - 4pm Ages: 5 - 10 June 29 - July 3, 2026 Session 7 Princess Tea Party Extravaganza Calling all princes and princesses for a royal dance celebration! This is for dancers who love fairy tales, music, and fun. Dancers will twirl through graceful princess dances, play magical games, and enjoy royal crafts fit for a castle. The week will end with a delightful princess tea party and performance. It’s a sparkling experience full of imagination, kindness, and royal fun! Date: June 29 - July 3, 2026 Time: 9am - 12pm Ages: 3 - 10 Session 8 Pirates & Treasure Cove Ahoy, mateys! Set sail on a swashbuckling dance adventure in search of hidden treasure. Dancers will learn pirate-themed dances, go on exciting treasure hunts, and create fun pirate crafts. With games, movement, and adventure every day, it’s a week full of high-seas excitement! Don't forget to keep an eye out for the mischievous Captain Sneaky, trying to steal your treasure! Date: July 6 - 10, 2026 Time: 1pm - 4pm Ages: 5 - 10 July 13 - 17, 2026 Session 11 Tumbling Trolls Dance Party Get ready for the happiest dance party ever! Inspired by colorful trolls, dancers will tumble, groove, and dance to upbeat music all week long. Between tumbling sessions, dancers will enjoy fun games, crafts, dancing, and lots of giggles. Each day will offer new activities that bring out your inner trolls. It’s a bright, silly, and high-energy week full of dancing fun! Date: July 13 - 17, 2026 Time: 9am - 12pm Ages: 3 - 10 Session 12 Swiftie Era Dance Celebration Calling all Swifties! annual registration fee Before starting in your classes, it is important that all students, whether returning or new, pay their annual registration fee of $37.00 for one dancer. If you have more than one dancer in your immediate family, the annual registration fee is $62.00 for the entire family. A reduced registration fee is available if you register after January. Your annual Registration fee is due at the time of registration and will be charged annually as long as my child(ren) is enrolled in a class or team with Upstage Dance Centre. recreational monthly tuition Upstage Dance Centre’s class fees are based on the number of hours taken each week. Monthly class fees begin at $65.00 per month for a 45-minute class. Once you establish the number of hours per week, refer to the “Upstage Dance Centre Class Pricing" chart below to determine the exact monthly cost. Rhythm Works class tuition is $20 per month and is not included in tuition hourly discounts. Dance With Me Tuition is $75 per session.

Recreational program A creative and captivating program for dancers ages 18 months and up! All of our classes are inclusive! Below you will find the class genres we offer. At the bottom of the page you will see our current recreational handbook that lists our season information. Acro Ages 4 and up Our Acrobatic Arts classes focus on developing flexibility and strength. Students will learn basic contortion and Acrobatic Arts tricks such as front and back walkovers, scorpions, chin stands and cartwheels. Dancers who need work on their flexibility should consider adding Acrobatic Arts to their class schedule. Acro-Hop Ages 2-3 Acro-Hop is a fun, high-energy class combines the basics of acro and hip hop through age-appropriate movement, music, and imaginative activities. Dancers will build coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, rhythm, and confidence while learning beginner acro skills and upbeat dance moves in a positive, encouraging environment. Ballet Ages 4-6 Ballet is the foundation of most dance styles and provides dancers with the technique, strength, discipline, and artistry needed to excel in all forms of dance. Dancers will learn ballet technique in a fun engaging environment. Ballet + Conditioning Ages 7 & up Ballet is the foundation of most dance styles, developing proper technique, strength, balance, flexibility, and artistry. Together, ballet and conditioning help dancers build the technical skills and physical strength needed to succeed in all styles of dance. Combo (Tap & Jazz) Ages 4 and up Our Combo classes introduce dancers to both tap and jazz in one exciting class. Students will explore lively and expressive movements of jazz, alongside the precise and rhythmic steps of tap. This fun, high-energy class builds confidence and provides a strong technical foundation for continued dance education. Hip Hop Ages 7 and up This high energy class teaches rhythm, coordination, and balance through age-appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music. Hip Hop instills rhythm and helps young dancers develop muscle memory. This style is upbeat and great for girls and boys who like to move and are not excited about the traditional ballet and tap classes. Musical Theatre Ages 7 and up This upbeat class teaches Broadway-style jazz choreography and show-stopping stage presence with a focus on learning song-and-dance numbers from a variety of musical productions, past and present. Musical Theater is a great class for aspiring Broadway stars! Pom Ages 7 and up Pom combines jazz technique with sharp, precise motions, dynamic choreography, and high-energy performance. his exciting class is perfect for dancers interested in school dance teams or anyone who enjoys energetic, spirited performances. Rhythm Works Ages 6 and up Rhythm Works Integrative Dance is an inclusive class that focuses on foundational skill development, self-empowerment, independence and celebrating our diversity. This is a rhythm & dance program designed for those with learning differences and special needs. The purpose of Rhythm Works is to engage each child in strength building, motor-planning, and cognitive activities to aid in reaching developmental goals. This is a hip hop based program, where the steps are based off of everyday activites. Together We Dance Together We Dance is a fun, interactive class designed for dancers ages 18–36 months and their favorite grown-up. Through music, movement, imaginative play, and simple dance activities, little ones will develop coordination, confidence, and early classroom skills in a warm and supportive environment. This 30-minute class encourages exploration, creativity, and a love of movement while creating special memories together. This class takes place in 6-week sessions.

Recreational Class Dress Code Dance Shoes for Class: All dance shoes for our recreational program must be purchased through Upstage Dance Centre. We have sizing kits available at the front counter to ensure the proper fit of your dancers shoes. We want all of our dancers to look uniform when dancing onstage together! Studio Rule: No street shoes of any kind are allowed on any dance floor. Please, make sure all dance shoes are put on students prior to coming into the classroom. No dance shoes should be worn outside. Dance Bag: All students should keep their dance shoes safely secured inside of a dance bag. Please, ensure your child's name is clearly written inside of their shoes. Shoes can easily be misplaced and we want to ensure they get back to their owner. Part of this fee includes their beginning of the season headshot and team photo shoot. These photos will be used throughout the season to recognize our dancers and their achievements. Monthly Tuition Monthly tuition is due by the 10th of each month. Cards on file will be automatically processed on the 15th of the month. Please view our "Payment Policy" in your Parent Portal for more information. Choreography fees All competition routines created at Upstage will have a choreography fee assessed to them. Please see your Team Calendar for payment dates. You may review your invoices online in your Parent Portal, once they are posted.
