Recreational Class Dress Code
Dance Shoes for Class: All dance shoes for our recreational program must be purchased through Upstage Dance Centre. We have sizing kits available at the front counter to ensure the proper fit of your dancers shoes. We want all of our dancers to look uniform when dancing onstage together!
Studio Rule: No street shoes of any kind are allowed on any dance floor. Please, make sure all dance shoes are put on students prior to coming into the classroom. No dance shoes should be worn outside.
Dance Bag: All students should keep their dance shoes safely secured inside of a dance bag. Please, ensure your child's name is clearly written inside of their shoes. Shoes can easily be misplaced and we want to ensure they get back to their owner.
Ballet
Class Attire:

Leotard: any color; (no sports bra or spandex shorts)

Hair: should be in a bun. If you have short hair, it needs to be secure and out of the face.

Shoes: Revolution pink canvas ballet

Tights: pink footed tights

Acrobatic Arts
Class Attire:

Leotard or Biketard: any color, (you may wear a sports bra or spandex shorts)

Hair: should be in a ponytail or bun. If you have short hair, it needs to be secure and out of the face.

Tights: any color stirrup or convertible tights

Combo
Class Attire:

Leotard or Biketard: any color; (no sports bras or spandex shorts)

Hair: should be in a ponytail or bun. If you have short hair, it needs to be secure and out of the face.

Shoes Ages 4-6: Revolution dark tan u-shell tap & pink canvas ballet

Shoes Ages 6+: Revolution black jazz tap, pink canvas ballet, and canvas jazz

Tights: any color footed, stirrup, or convertible tights

Skirts: allowed
Musical Theatre
Class Attire:

Any appropriate clothing that is easy to move in; (no sports bras or spandex booty shorts)

Hair: should be in a ponytail or bun. If you have short hair, it needs to be secure and out of the face.

Shoes: Revolution dark tan canvas jazz shoes.

Hip Hop
Class Attire:

Any appropriate clothing that is easy to move in; (you can wear sports bras or spandex shorts)

Hair: should be in a ponytail or bun. If you have short hair, it needs to be secure and out of the face.

Class Attire:
